• Eighteen years as director of communications for the Colorado Healthcare Association for Human Resource Management (CHAHRM) and an active member of its executive committee
• Successful creation of communication strategies and materials resulting in real behavior change among employees; production of numerous announcements, newsletters and brochures, as well as many training and orientation programs
• Winner of several International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Bronze, Silver and Gold Quill awards for excellence in employee communications
• Bachelor’s degree in English education from the State University of New York at Buffalo
